Information Required for Energy Ratings
Please email the following documents (plans in PDF format)
- Proposed Floor Plan, Site plan, Elevations and Section
- Location and Height of existing buildings on property if applicable (if not shown on site plan)
- Wall and Roof claddings (if not shown of elevations)
- Window and Door Schedule (New and Existing) including types of windows (ie. Awning) and whether windows are timber or aluminium
- Roof colour (light, medium or dark)
- If Insulation has been pre selected, please inform us of the following: floor insulation, wall insulation, ceiling and roof insulation
- If the Rating is for a house extension, please provide the window and door sizes for all of the existing windows and doors

Some helpful tips are:
- If possible, position your living areas on the north side of your house
- Position windows on the north side, ideally with a verandah
- Eaves are great for blocking out the summer sun but still allowing the winter sun in
- Position laundry's, toilets, bathrooms etc. on the south side
- External awnings over windows help with keeping the summer heat out of your house
- Pull down block out blinds on windows help with trapping the heat in your house on those cold winter nights
